Mary Louella Rogers Gilbert

Mary Louella Rogers, Gilbert, 92, of Fayetteville passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012, following a long illness.

Mary was born at Hico, WV on October 1, 1919.  She was the daughter of the late Robert Perry and Nannie Lykens Perry.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, Harold Elmer Rogers and John Gilbert; a daughter, Maxine Sullivan; three sons, Harold Jimmy Rogers, Jr., Ronald Rogers and Donald Jay Rogers; four sisters ,Leila Pierce, Maggie Potter, Bess Metheney and Mildred Metheney: three brothers, Forrest Perry, Woodville Perry and Wilmer Earl Perry.

Mary was a homemaker and a member of Shiloh Chapel Wesleyan Church of Mt. Hope.

Survivors are two sons, Clinton Rogers of Fayetteville , David Rogers and Regina of Tucson Arizona; five grandchildren, Chrissy Rogers Boyle, Jimmy Clark, Nikki Rogers, Mandy D. Stoffle and David Jay Rogers, Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Chloe Stoffle, Damian Rogers, Sierra Rogers and Brandy Lynn Rogers.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home Chapel in Ansted with Terry Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens in Victor.

Friends may call Thursday from 12 to 2pm at the Funeral Home.
